Eliza is a Registered Psychologist who has over fifteen years experience working with children, adolescents, young adults, adults, couples and families.

Eliza’s therapeutic approach focuses on increasing client awareness and self-support, and improving their overall well-being. Eliza focuses on empowering her clients to be more assertive and to lead choiceful lives. Eliza knows the importance of the quality of the relationship between therapist and client uses this as the basis of a positive and fulfilling outcome for her clients.

Eliza is a mindfulness based Cognitive-Behavioural Therapist and Gestalt Psychotherapist with an avid interest in promoting self-esteem and motivation in her clients. Eliza provides psycho-educational programmes to schools, students and parents around adolescent mental health.

Eliza has extensive experience in working with individuals and families who have been affected by family separation and divorce, anxiety, depression, drug/alcohol related issues, parent/adolescent conflict and difficult adolescent behaviours.

Eliza provides assessments on and written reports for: Post traumatic Stress, The Family Court, Criminal Injuries Compensation Board.

Eliza is often appointed as a single expert witness for the Family Court of Western Australia and has over fifteen years of experience assessing complicated family structures, personalities and possible abuse scenarios.

As a result of her work, Eliza speaks regularly on broadcast media on topics such as the fly in fly out lifestyle, Finding love, maintaining healthy relationships and sexuality issues.

Eliza is a psychological adviser to, and is appearing in, the Documentary Ray Of Light – a four part series on adolescent depression and suicide. Ray of Light is soon to be aired on the ABC.

Based in Mount Pleasant, Eliza provides a welcoming, respectful and supportive environment where individuals, couples, and families can resolve their difficulties.
